One of the reasons we love the idea of cooking the steak in the air fryer is how fast you can get it done. With regular steaks, such as ribeye steaks, you’re looking at cooking time under 30 minutes.
Now, when you cut the steak up ahead of time to make steak bites, everything comes together so much faster. In fact, with this recipe, you can have your steak cooked in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients Overview and Instructions

As I mentioned, one of the reasons you can make a steak in the air fryer so quickly is how few ingredients it involves. Here’s a rundown of those ingredients.
- 1 pound ribeye steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Fresh parsley
Step-by-step instructions
Plug in your air fryer and remove the basket. In the meantime, slice the Ribeye steak into bite-sized pieces. Then add it to a medium-sized bowl.
To the bowl add salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Toss the pieces so they are coated. Next, drizzle the avocado oil and Worcestershire sauce over the seasoned steak bites and toss again to ensure they are completely coated.
Arrange the steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
This is why we like to use our larger, square air fryer for cooking meals. With a round one, it’s nearly impossible not to have the food touching when you cook it.
Place the air fryer basket in the air fryer and cook the steak bites at 400 F for six to eight minutes. You may want to flip them halfway through the cooking time. My air fryer prompts me at the halfway mark to flip food. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Chef’s choice.
Once cooked, remove the steak bites from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter in the microwave and then drizzle over the rested steak bites. Toss to coat them in the butter. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the steak bites as a garnish.
Each serving of these air fried steak bites has only 3 grams of carbs. So, enjoy!

These steak bites are great as a pass-around food at a party. Just pierce each piece with oversized cocktail skewers.

Notes
Feel free to add additional seasonings or herbs to your steak bites according to your taste preferences. For example, for a spicier steak, try using Old Bay Seasoning. For a simpler taste, leave out the garlic powder. If you’re not a fan of Worcestershire Sauce, you can always substitute this homemade steak seasoning recipe.
