Pinterest Hidden Image

Snack time doesn’t get any easier than this! These keto peanut butter balls are fantastic just as they are or rolled in chopped nuts or keto-friendly chocolate chips.

Some say that peanut butter isn’t the best choice for a keto diet, but you can’t go wrong if you stick to all-natural. I love peanut butter everything.

These little tasty jewels have only 3.3 net carbs, so go ahead and indulge…a little. Try not to eat the whole batch!

Why I Love Keto Peanut Butter Energy Balls

I love peanut butter everything. For real. Before I switched to the keto diet, I would eat peanut butter right out of the jar by spoonfuls.

I still love peanut butter, and these keto peanut butter energy balls are a quick and perfect midday keto snack if you’re on the run or just need a little sweet fix. I love that they have protein in them.

Just pop these little keto energy balls in your mouth and go. Snacking doesn’t get much easier than this!

  • ½ t. pure vanilla extract

How to Make Keto Peanut Butter Balls

  1. Line a small baking sheet or large plate with parchment paper or a Silpat baking mat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine peanut butter, almond flour, monk fruit sweetener, and vanilla. Mix until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Form into 8 medium-sized balls, rolling in the palm of your hand. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Place peanut butter balls in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. The recipe can be doubled or tripled, and leftover peanut butter balls can be stored in the freezer. Enjoy!

Variations and Substitutions for Peanut Butter Keto Energy Balls

There are many ways to switch up this keto peanut butter energy balls recipe.

Not a fan of almond flour? Try using coconut flour or even lupin flour!

Don’t really fancy peanut butter even though these are keto peanut butter balls? Ha! We got ya covered. You can swap that out for cashew butter, almond butter or your favourite nut butter but I can’t guarantee the texture/taste/consistency.

Give it a whirl, and let us know how it went!

We’ve used monk fruit sweetener, but you can use your favourite keto sweetener in this keto peanut butter balls recipe.

While this keto peanut butter energy balls recipe only makes 8, feel free to double up that recipe and make more!

FUN TIP! To spruce up these little gems a bit more, feel free to roll them in crushed nuts of your choice (keto-friendly nuts, of course) or even make chocolate icing for them—also keto. You can also roll these keto energy balls in sugar-free chocolate chips.

You do you, boo!
