How to Make Marinated Grilled Chicken Breasts
Marinated grilled chicken breasts are a summertime staple. They’re easy to prep and can be served with any number of veggies, used as a salad topping or to make chicken salad or cut up for sandwiches and wraps.
It’s always a good idea to have a couple of marinated grilled chicken breasts in your fridge to make midweek meals easier. Try this grilled meal-prep staple as a delicious twist to your usual pan-fried or oven-baked breasts.
Marinated Grilled Chicken Breasts
Ingredients:
- 2 T. extra virgin olive oil
- ½ c. apple cider vinegar
- 2 T. fresh lime juice
- 2 t. organic lime zest
- 2 T. fresh oregano leaves
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary leaves
- 3 large garlic cloves, crushed and peeled
- 1 t. sea salt
- ½ t. black pepper
- 4 8-oz. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Marinated Grilled Chicken Breasts
Ingredients
- 2 T. extra virgin olive oil
- ½ c. apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 2 tsp organic lime zest
- 2 tbsp fresh oregano leaves
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary leaves
- 3 large garlic cloves crushed and peeled
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 8- oz. boneless skinless chicken breas
Instructions
- To prepare the marinade, add the olive oil, vinegar, lime juice and zest, oregano, rosemary, garlic, salt, and black pepper to a large bowl and whisk to combine.
- Add chicken breasts to a 1-gallon sealable freezer bag and pour marinade mixture over top. Seal bag and turn to coat breasts thoroughly. Place the bag in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 1 hour to overnight. Turn the bag a couple times to evenly distribute the marinade during this time.
- Remove chicken from the refrigerator and discard excess marinade. Grill the breasts over medium direct heat, turning once, for 10-12 minutes total. Remove from heat and rest for 5 minutes before serving with your choice of sides. Enjoy!
